ENERGY-EFFICIENT BALCONY DOORS Uw = 0,9 W/m2K
Drewexim offers special French doors with improved thermal insulation which can help you reduce the heat loss in your building and reduce the energy consumption which results in lower costs of energy. These doors are slightly thicker than standard 68 mm systems, the depth of both the frame and the sash is 88 mm. Usually equipped with 2 or 3 gaskets and triple glazing with either Argon or Krypton to achieve the U value Ug=0,5 W/m2K. Standard energy-efficient doors achieve U value approx. Uw=0,9 W/m2K. The biggest advantage of this system is very good thermal insulation with relatively low price. |

PASSIVE BALCONY DOORS Uw = 0,77 W/m2K
Drewexim also offers a special version of energy-efficient doors with additional insulation inside the frame and the sash. It is a construction material, also biologically harmless, formed from polyurethane foam's hard particles, joined at high pressure by means of a formaldehyde free binding agent. It is common in building construction especially where efficient thermal insulators are required. This material is a better insulator than wood, morphologically stable under extremely wide temperature variations (from -50°C to +100°C for prolonged periods of time). Thanks to using this material and triple glazing the balcony door meets all the highest energy-efficiency and quality norms. The total U value for the whole door is Uw=0,77 W/m2K certified by the Institute for Window Techniques in Rosenheim. Passive doors are a perfect solution also for your environment. The best characteristic of such door is money saving, perfect insulation, durability and healthy microclimate in the building.
