The thermal transmittance factor for the whole window is Uw=0,84 W/m2K As a standard Designo R8 is equipped with triple glazing where Ug=0,5 W/m2K where the external and internal glass pane is toughened and additionally the outer pane is self-cleaning. Designo R8 roof windows are manufactured from Scandinavian pine wood and painted very light and natural almost clear lacquer. On request another 16 stain colours are available. On the outside the aluminium cladding is anthracite metallic which perfectly matches any type and colour of the roof. Hi-tech locking mechanism allows for comfortable opening up to 45° and also for opening for cleaning. As a standardo passive Designo R8 roof windows iare equipped with special thermal insulating block fitted all around the window frame. This block allows to achieve the best thermal parameters.
